Baba Yaga is the character from russian fairytales. Often it is old wise woman, who knows magic and helps heroes in troubles.
Well, here she is not very old, let say she is young here :)

I remember reading that she was a scary withc who flew around in a cauldren and ate children! I guess legends have many different interpretations.

There are a lot of tales about her. And where there is are heroes searching for something, she usually helps them.
